PRIVACY POLICY
The only personal data held by Chertsey Society is the name, address and membership status
of each of the society’s members.
The data is maintained by and available to the Membership Secretary or exceptionally to other
officers of the society.
The data is only used for matters directly connected with membership. We assume by choosing
to become and remain members those concerned are giving implicit consent to their data being
held and used for this purpose.
The data will be released to any third party unless required by law.
A member may terminate their membership at any time by notifying the Membership Secretary.
A member may also request a copy of their data or have it corrected by applying to the
Membership Secretary.
This privacy policy is available from our website or in printed form by applying in writing to our
Data Protection Officer.
